A second generation tunable spatial heterodyne spectrometer for ground-based observations of diffuse emission line targets

Abstract

We report construction and testing of a tunable spatial heterodyne spectrometer that has been installed at the Coudé Auxiliary Telescope on Mt. Hamilton. The instrument combines high sensitivity and resolving power with broadband capability.
