Accurate lit-appearance modeling of illumination systems

Abstract

Lit-appearance modeling of illumination systems is the determination of what that system looks like before costly fabrication. Methods using ray-tracing software will be presented through examples: spot projection, pupil sampling, and luminance modeling.
