Broken time-reversal and electromagnetic anyon quasiparticles in 2D chiral plasmon nanostructure

Abstract

We demonstrate that optical excitations in chiral plasmon nanostructures exhibit broken time reversal symmetry and fractional electromagnetic angular momentum, both of which are essential characteristics of anyon quasiparticles.
