Bubble nucleation in binary mixtures: A semiempirical approach

Abstract

The interaction forces between water and the four gases (hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide) were modeled using Lennard-Jones potentials. A positive slope of critical supersaturation with temperature for hydrogen was observed. Results of the study are fully consistent with the experimental trends.
