Abstract

We propose a coded polarization-multiplexed iterative polar modulation (PM-IPM) as an enabling coded-modulation scheme for beyond 400Gb/s serial optical transmission. We demonstrate that the proposed scheme can achieve 400Gb/s optical transmission over 2250km (for M=16).
