Commercial cigs solar cells for concentrator applications

Abstract

We studied the effect of concentration on commercial CIGS solar cells. Measurement results indicate 23% improvement in efficiency can be achieved under 20X. Methods to optimize concentrator cells for higher irradiance levels are also discussed.
