Abstract

This chapter will provide a general background on the anatomy of the prostate, primary pathologic conditions affecting the prostate, and risk factors and treatments of each condition. However, the chief focus will be on the epidemiological evidence concerning the role of different food, herbs, and supplements in maintaining the health of the prostate health and treating prostate diseases.
