Dual-wavelength common-cavity codoped fiber laser

Abstract

We report on a dual-wavelength fiber laser. This common-cavity fiber laser is constructed with erbium (Er) and neodymium (Nd) codoped fiber and two sets of fiber Bragg gratings. Simultaneous lasing at 1069 nm (Nd) and 1550 nm (Er) is demonstrated using a dual-pumping scheme.
