Effect of the current-phase relationship on the I-V characteristics of weak links: Noise effects

Abstract

When noise effects are considered, the quasiparticle-pair interference current is shown to have an observable effect on the behavior of superconducting weak links even when the I-V characteristics calculated in the absence of noise are indistinguishable from those calculated without the interference current.
