Enhanced Third Harmonic Generation in Organic Multilayers

Abstract

We demonstrate quasi-phase-matched third harmonic generation in organic multilayer films. The phase shift between the fundamental and the generated third harmonic light was compensated by alternatingly coated layers of a passive UV curable polymer material.
