Abstract

The research described evaluates the current chemical methods of degradation of municipal sludges containing organic and inorganic residues for total metal analysis. An evaluation of 12 total trace metals in two municipal sludges was made using six modified plant and soil methods. The presence of organic and inorganic constituents in roughly equal proportions required method modification from that usually employed.
