Abstract

Quantum dot waveguides were constructed in order to examine femtosecond pulse propagation behavior in them. Pulse break up were noted in these CdS quantum dot waveguides. The waveguides may be utilized in the manufacture of novel integrated optical devices, for instance lasers and low threshold all-optical switches.
