Four-wave mixing in degenerate Fermi gases: Beyond the undepleted pump approximation

Abstract

Four-wave mixing in degenerate Fermi gases was discussed. Density grating and beam density were studied. Results showed that the lifetime for the fermionic four-wave mixing can be improved by making the number of atoms in the beam comparable to the number of atoms that form the density grating.
