Abstract

An experiment on high precision lattice quantum chromodynamics (LQCD) confronts was discussed. The experimental study used Symanzik-improved staggered-quark discretization which allows unquenched LQCD simulation with much smaller quark masses. The experimental result was compared with a variety of nonperturbative calculations in QCD drawn from a restricted set of gold plated quantities. It was found that Symanzik-improved staggered-quark formalism is among the most accurate discretizations, and it is much faster than current alternatives of comparable accuracy.
