Hybrid organic-inorganic for low-cost photonics integration

Abstract

Hybrid organic-inorganic sol-gel materials are attractive for their process simplicity, optical properties. In this talk the recent developments in hybrid sol-gel integrated optics and electro-optical components including, splitters, tunable filters and modulators will be presented.
