Interference of a thermal tonks gas on a ring

Abstract

An overview is given on the results showing that even at nonzero temperatures, a strongly interacting 1D gas of impenetrable bosons can show high visibility inference fringes on a ring. The results followed from a generalization of the zero temperature Fermi-Bose mapping which maps the strongly interacting 1D bosons for a 1D gas of free fermions.
