In this paper we extend nonlocal smoothing techniques for image regularization in [G. Gilboa and S. Osher, Multiscale Model. Simul., 6 (2007), pp. 595-630] to surface regularization, with surfaces represented by level set functions. We test our algorithm on both phantom and observedsurfaces, including city terrain and cortical surfaces.
