Abstract

The fabrication, structural characterization, and magnetic properties of Fe/Tb multilayers grown by dc-triode sputter deposition are discussed. The thin films have been characterized by X-ray diffraction and ion beam analysis techniques. Magnetic measurements indicate ferrimagnetic coupling between the Fe and Tb layers.
