Abstract

THE STUDY DESCRIBED WAS CONDUCTED TO DEVELOP A MODEL CAPABLE OF PREDICTING SOIL MOISTURE LEVELS IN A FIELD UNDER CORN PRODUCTION THROUGHOUT THE GROWING SEASON, AND TO DETERMINE BYTHE USE OF THIS MODEL WHETHER BASIN TILLAGE CAN INCREASE SOIL MOISTURE LEVELS IN AREAS WHERE RAINFALL DURING THE GROWING SEASON IS LIMITING.
