Non-Bragg diffraction orders in highly efficient photorefractive polymers

Abstract

This report presents the first observation of strong non-Bragg diffraction orders in photorefractive polymers. It is shown that these non-Bragg diffraction orders offer new opportunities to implement wavefront transformations on interacting beams in a photorefractive polymer in a two-beam geometry as opposed to the standard four-wave mixing geometry.
