Optically controlled terahertz filtering, beam steering, and imaging

Abstract

Using structured illumination of a silicon waver we demonstrate THz imaging and beam steering of transmitted THz waves. If additional gratings are used to spatially disperse the different frequency components the technique can be modified to build tunable THz filters.
