Percutaneous transthoracic left ventricular cineangiography in patients with prosthetic aortic valves

Joseph S Alpert, D. F. Adams

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

The authors describe a technique for studying postoperative left ventricular function and mitral insufficiency in patients with prosthetic aortic valves. Standard transthoracic left ventricular puncture techniques are modified to lessen the risk of injecting contrast material into the myocardium during cineangiography.
