POTENTIAL SLUICE GATE FLOW WITH GENERALIZED BOUNDARIES.

Abstract

This Note considers the potential flow in a sluice gate which generalizes in that the intersecting boundaries are not required to be at right angles. Results obtained include equations of the free streamline and the coefficient of contraction in closed from for a general configuration. the process by which these results can be generated by holograph methods is indicated in the sequel.
