Quantum soliton evaporation

Abstract

Quantum evaporation occurs in many systems. We use the quantised Nonlinear Schrödinger equation, to study the evolution of quantum solitons. As a result of quantum fluctuations, the quantum soliton evaporates through the emission of radiation.
