Abstract

The thermodynamic behavior of a Brownian oscillator is a fluid with diverging viscosity is asymptotically analyzed. Its kinetics in a cooled and reheated systems with the viscosity is analyzed. An explicit expression is derived for the temperature-dependent specific heat in a quench-heating cycle.
