Regular lattice LDPC codes in perpendicular magnetic recording

Abstract

Regular lattice low-density parity check (LDPC) codes in perpendicular magnetic recording were presented. These construction gave high rate LDPC codes with different column weights J. The performance of LDPC codes with J=4 and 5 was evaluated for different PR targets, user densities ND, types of precoder and noise.
