Abstract

A study was conducted to demonstrate that peculiarities of plasma as an active medium fundamentally modifies the spectral profile of the ion Raman laser with traveling pump wave and standing output wave. As distinct from the neutral gas, a comparatively broad peak with a width of 700 MHz was observed.
