Simulation method study for crosstalk noise based on RLC interconnects system

Abstract

A new simulation method for crosstalk noise based on coupled uniform RLC interconnects system is proposed. This method decouples the coupled interconnects model in complex frequency domain when analyzing the interconnect segments, and transforms them into independent interconnect segments, so that the process of the simulation and analysis of crosstalk can be abbreviated. Finally, the estimation expression of crosstalk noise of uniform RLC model in time domain is presented by numerical technique. Compared to the simulation results of PSPICE, the error of numerical result is less than 5%, and it demonstrates that the proposed method can evaluate the crosstalk noise of uniform coupled RLC interconnects effectively.
