Freshly obtained human lymphoma cells were cocultivated with target cells derived from long-term cultures of humanlymphoma, sarcoma, and melanoma cells andfrom Chinese hamster ovary. The fresh lymphoma cells inhibited colony formation of thelymphoma line but not of the other lines. Wesuggest that the lymphoma cells had thecapacity of “autoaggressive” immunologicreactions.
