### Abstract

The Letter derives the matrix difference equation system for the eigenstructure determination of the adjacency matrix of the Markov chain generating a charge constrained run length limited sequence. The eigenstructure is used to calculate the spectrum of this sequence. The computer program used to implement the calculation is made highly efficient by the use of a difference equation method for the autocorrelation function calculation, and FFT algorithm for the spectrum calculation.
