Superconducting transition temperatures and structure of MBE-grown Nb/Pd multilayers

Abstract

We have studied the structure and superconducting properties of molecular-beam-epitaxy-grown Nb/Pd multilayers. The resistivity of each layer was calculated from the multilayer resistivity by including size effect and bulk imperfection terms. The superconducting transition temperatures obtained using these resistivities together with the de Gennes-Werthamer theory showed good agreement with the experimental results.
