Theory of nonlinear optical absorption in coupled-band quantum wells with many-body effects

Abstract

The paper presents a theoretical analysis of optical nonlinearities in a strained and lattice matched quantum wells with many-body effects. The nonlinear absorption spectra and refractive index are solved numerically by the interband polarization equation. The computed spectra with the experimental results are described in this paper for comparison purposes.
