Three wave interaction in negative refractive index materials with quadratic nonlinearity

Abstract

We examine waves propagation in negative refractive index materials with quadratic nonlinearity. We analyze the modulational instability of the wave with constant background. The solitary wave solutions binding pump and second harmonic waves are found.
