Treating Adolescent Sexual Offenders

A significant number of sexual offenses are committed by adolescents. This article addresses clinical and ethical issues to be considered by the clinician in assessing adolescent sexual offenders. Issues in the treatment of adolescent sex offenders are discussed. A treatment program based on a cognitive behavioral model is described and follow-up data are presented.
