Abstract

We study QCD thermodynamics with Wilson quarks using eight time slices at 6/g2 = 5.3. Unlike the case of Nt = 6 at smaller 6/g2, no strong metastability is seen and the differences in thermodynamic variables between hot and cold lattices are consistent with quark-gluon plasma physics. Estimates of the temperature of the crossover are consistent with estimates using Kogut-Susskind quarks and with Wilson quarks at Nt = 6.
